Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP) was established in 1999 following the closure of the Krups factory in Limerick. LEDP is a Partnership between the following organisations, Limerick City Council, Shannon Development, Paul Partnership, The RC Diocese Of Limerick, The Community Foundation for Ireland, and Limerick Enterprise Network. LEDP has a proven track record in assisting in the development of communities. Initially its key objective was to retain employment in the local community and this objective has been largely achieved. LEDP is actively engaged in supporting innovation in community & education development
LEDP Ltd is a charitable trust company with its objectives as Employment regeneration, skills training, education & community development.
Over 700 people participate daily in LEDP in employment, training & education activities. To date LEDP has leveraged €80m of capital investment on its site in Roxboro. Circa €20m annually is generated in wages & salaries from activities on the park.
